Your sense of comic timing was excellent with the word balloons in the beginning; it acutally made me laugh out loud.  Artistically, I found it a little awkward with the photo-real moon and the bright, cartoony earth and tortoise.  I had to watch it a couple times to understand that the tortoise was actually -inside- the earth.  I think your own plans for future animations are exactly on-target.  Good work and I look forward to seeing more.

Nice, fresh idea- I like that! I thought the technical part of the animation could be better but I don't think it hurt the thought. Would have liked to see better textures. Overall very nice!

Nice continuity and pacing the action.  Good cartoonish look throughout.  The final scene, however, is missing something.  The clever revelation doesn't quite come across clearly.  I would rather see, maybe, a "cutaway-view" of the Earth.
