I did an anim a lot like this about a year ago, complete with robot mouse... how funny.  I liked your dark overall look, but the motion seemed a little stiff.

Why couldn't the mouse just BITE the cheese? :o)

The story always carries the most weight. You had that. Cause I expected the mouse to succumb to the knife. Good lighting. Good materials especially the cat.

Hmm, fine story.  Some movements seem too slow, but the overall pacing is good.  Lighting is a little dark.  Great idea -- animating wind-up toys.  Seems perfectly plausible somehow.
