From Markus.Altendorff@asamnet.de:
A very different approach to 3D work, with the look of a classic cartoon.
How about doint a version where the splines of the basic forms morph from one cell to the other? Of course, this would require to build a basic form and to keep the number of points on the spline constant. This would allow for a "smoother" animation.

Artistically intriguing, but this almost isn't an animation.

From schaneville@hotmail.com:
A cat escaping from a dog definitely applies to the topic, so I gave a good score for concept. Even though the animation feels a little too 2D for a ray-tracing competition, I liked your drawings (particularly the stylized cat) and I like that it was very different from things we've seen in the past. So I gave some extra points on the artistic merit too...

Wow!!! This one just didn't do anything for me. Good concept, but it was lacking something.

From zach@brewstergeisz.cjb.net:
It was hard to tell this was CGI--and in my view, that's a good thing. Too many of us CGI types try to imitate Pixar or Final Fantasy. I was wishing for a more interesting story, though.

Seems like a really old animated film... the concept is well pulled-off.

From irtc_mail@yahoo.co.uk:

The dog seems to bark too slowly, it almost feels like a yawn.

He also has a big mouth to express himself with but he has a
very neutral expression on his face when chasing the cat. I
would have expected more agression, more "GRRRR".

I think there is too much running here. I don't think the
running back from left to right is needed.

There is not much of an escape here. The cat is trapped: this
is more like a seige.

It is good to see something different. I like the way this
defines its own world. I think you could take this style and
do a lot more with it.

I wouldn't guessed that it's 3D. it does looks like an old-fashion 2D movie, but what's the point? maybe if it was 4 times the frames

I would have liked to see some kind of background in three dimensions. It has too much of 2D look to it.

This is very stupid
