Good job! Lots of work. Good pacing, not too floaty, like a lot of animations.

Since you used Rusty, you've stoked my ego, so I gave you a higher score. To anyone else reading this, don't try it. It won't work again.

Awesome! Genuinely funny, good clean models, good use of camera animation, fits the topic very well, pokes fun at itself ("supposed to be silent" :), and has a soundtrack (no, that didn't add to my vote, i watched it sound-off first). Hard to believe it took only a month to make!

Very pleased with the story line.

The animation of the robot was great, from the appearance until the end, especially the transitions.

A slightly more realistic (but not too realistic) person would have improved it in my opinion.

From bmh@arkady.demon.co.uk:

I thought this was a great entry, it contained good characters
and about as much plot as could be expected in 1899 frames and
while the sound was good it still seemed to work without (the
lip-syncing was well done (but not quite perfect)).

Frames 0-120 show us the cartoon style face of the clerk, the head
movements and the blinking of the eyes add to the realism.

121-265 Is the view of the desk with a reasonable amount of detail,
with a well modeled phone, desk lamp, keyboard, monitor and cables.
(Maybe the camera movement in frames 206-226 seems a little jerky
and the angle of some of the fingers on the mouse look uncomfortable,
but these are minor points).

266-386 The effect of the impostor robot rising out of the floor
is nicely done, and I liked the camera movement.

582-666 In the view from behind clerk, the screen saver on monitor is
a nice touch

869-917 Robot transforms into soup can, a good sequence with the shape
changing as the new pattern fades in (maybe the can could be slightly
better lit)

1148-1184 The movement as the robot speaks adds to the realism.

1185-1281 The face illumination and expression of surprise as robot
transforms looked good.

1282-1310 Robot has the (quite detailed) 'terminator' head with the glowing
eyes (perhaps the jaw movement when speaking could have been larger).

1324-1360 Clerk reaches for panic button, the hand movements seemed
reasonably realistic

1361-1397 Robot drops cartoon style. The last 4 frames of this
sequence contain some nice detail which I missed until I looked
at it frame by frame, but the robot eyes pop further out on stalks
and lag behind as the robot head dissapears out of sight.

1398-1510 Trap doors swinging - nice touch (maybe the doors should
be swinging more to start with and slow down quicker?)

I really enjoyed how you actually had music and audio in your movie, it really improved the overall quality

Can't really comment on the technical quality, because every time I watch it I'm distracted by the sheer quality of the story. Well actually the quality of the graphics and animation is superb, which is why one can concentrate on the amusing script.
Notable for modelling, lighting, originality, composition, textures
