Rings on the water need to fade with distance.  That would help this ALOT. 
Fog's
a little too thick at the horizon, I barely noticed the moon (which looks
nice).
Metals and glass are nice. Alien is cute.

Neat concept.  I always liked the lava-lamp shape, too.  The inside of the
lamp is a bit crowded.
