The astranout is very nicely done.  You are right, the legs are a bit too high,
but that does not really detract from image ar all.  The fact you did all of
this without any sort of modeller is quite a feat.

Do the collors have any special meaning? If you where from America I would say 
that the stars and stripes are used (adding stars as multiples in the sand.

I think you would get a bit better composition if you'd pull the astronaut a 
bit closer. (S)He is a bit clean, no motion. Its the perfect snapshot for home.

Why is the moon egg-shaped? Are we having aspect ratio problems?

I think the lake sure could use some work.  The edge seems to hard and straght.

The individual elements are well done. Somehow they don't fit together well
though. How about dropping most of the foreground and closing in on the figure
- less is more!
