like the horizon is about 50 feet away!

More time spent on the moon with maybe a halo and a more realistic(resembling
the real moon) texture, and I would have fallen for it.

Contrast of moon throws the balance of the image out slightly. Also a light
house or something like a boat just to offset the moon and and a little more
detail.

Maybe make the cockpits a little smaller, but other than that--It's a very
beautiful scene. I really like it. May I use it as my Windows wallpaper?

Now that is inspiring. I even turned out the lights to view it, as you said. It
actually made no difference to me, maybe my room is dimly lit enough.

I'd suggest cropping out much of the boring ocean at the bottom of the scene. 
Is the water poluted or something? Why no specular higlights. Just this blurred
looking plastic highlight.

A lovely, subtle scene.  Two niggles; stars aren't all white, and I don't
know what that thing floating in the sky is, but it's not the moon.

A really memorable image, especially with the moon.

Dark, wistful mood.  Good composition.  A bit too simple and dark for true
excellence, and the moon looks like it's made of stucco.
