=====
Ouch! Needs anti-aliasing, have a look at the +A option in povray.

=====
I like the explosions, but the bombs look like they are falling out of
nowhere.

A little anti-aliasing could improve the scene a lot (especially when only
having 12 minutes render time, compared to my 78 hours ;)

The picture composition is to straight forward for me. Moving the plane from
the center would have created more tension in the picture, I think.
=====
Nice explosion

=====
Sorry 3 is the maximum I can give for this.

=====
If you increased the size of cone containing the smoke halo and lighten its
colors, so it would envelop part of the explosion, then I think the explosion
would more look realistic. Also, sky/clouds(especially the middle part) looks
little weird.
=====
Next time how about getting some source art of actual airplanes so you know at
least the proportions of one that your going to make up. These planes don't
even have the quality of early video game stills. Try again next month.

=====
Good looking image, the planes are too simple.

=====

Not much here.
=====
fire is great

=====
a little too bubbly

=====
Interesting use of primatives.

=====
Looks a bit weedy but it's better than I could do with a text editor!
I love using spheres for fireballs like that... it's very convincing.

=====

Nice smoke & flame effect.
=====

Nice fire/smoke.
=====
The flame looks cool. everything else could use more detail.

=====
Nice halos.

=====

Another image that was severly damaged by lack of anti-aliasing...
=====
Try using anti-aliasing to tidy the image up. The explosion is nice.

=====
I think the halo is nice. Halos are not POV-Ray's easiest feature. The rest
of the scene is very basic, and although I think the planes are really quite
effective, the sky needs work. The texture is very much 'default POV sky
texture'
and is just a regular flat backdrop. Think how different skies would affect the
scene. Maybe a dark stormy sky or a night sky would make the halo explosion more
dramatic?

=====
1,1,1 need I say more.

=====
the only thing I liked was the fire

=====
Ever heard of anti-aliasing? It's in the documentation.

=====
I don't give good scores for non-anti-aliased images. I'm sorry, but with
an image that takes 12 minutes, 9 seconds, is it *really* too much to anti-
alias? I admit, the smoke does increase the realism like he says, but it would
be more realistic with antialiasing and no smoke.

=====

Work on the textures.
=====
I think that the smoke looked extremely good, but you need to do some work on
the wing,
the don't look quite right to me. Where they connect to the plane, they start
bending in again.

=====
The fire is very well done.

=====
Nice Fire.....

=====
The explosion works well, but the rest is weak in it's artistic merits.
=====
LACKS TECHNICAL MERIT BUT HAS A WONDERFUL USE OF COLOR
=====
Next time render it at 800x600 with +A0.3 ;It's worth the wait!
=====
Nicely caricatured

=====
I appreciate anyone who makes their entire image by hand (textures and
primitives) instead of using expensive modelers. good job!

=====

A surreal dogfight... not as nice as other surreal images in this roundup.

=====
A bit simplistic. Nice flame effect on the rear plane.
