Different...

Try playing around with surface normals -- it would help add some granularity
to the textures.

The ground looks odd. Why is it so red?

Very nice.. a little cartoony, but I like that.

A different approach. Could be developed further.

I like the way so much of the detail is not seen directly, but as a reflection
in the water.
Good organic shapes. The ground looks very red -- why? The main feature of
the
scene (the snail) is confusingly obscured by another object. If you were taking
a picture
of this snail, wouldn't you have moved the camera a little bit?

The difficulty with dealing with natural objects close-up is that you need
to code in a ton of intricate detail so that the viewer will feel the image
is "true". Your image is very well done, and I would love to see it
re-worked with further detail on each of the objects. :{)

A very nice idea, andthe composition is really well
done, but I think perhaps the abstract form perhaps
deprives you of the opportunity to use some texturing
which could make the image more varied.

Borderline for topic. Reflecting pool is good. Textures on objects need more
detail and, if you want realism, more subtle colors. This comment by
