Nice attention to detail.

Hmmm... lighting it's very real! Looks exactly as a TV noise screen must light,
and I also can say this for my own experience. :) Nice! Good Luck!

Very realistic, excellent for a first entry.
Liked the fractal calendar!

Your first IRTC entry? Wonderful!
Lots of realism in this scene, especially the light cast from
the static on the television screen.
My only complaint: the scene is split -- your eye is drawn to the
far sides of the scene, while the middle is blank.

From djconnel@flash.net:
A nice idea! The static could have been done directly
in POV-Ray with a simple texture statement. Also,
the room is a bit stark and, other than the excellent
use of the artwork, is a bit stark-looking. It is generally
well done, but there isn't a lot "special" about it.

Nice image! And thanks for the tip on referenced copies of mesh objects.
I too was agonized to learn the memory consumption of all those triangles
(a NURBS primitive for POV would be a godsend!), but it didn't occur to me
that referenced copies of meshes might simply "point to" the original mesh
instead of making a true copy. I'll have to look for this effect. Great tip!

The room is too plain and neat and the legs have angular artifacts. The couch
is good. This comment by clem@dhol.com.
