From sshaw@fas.harvard.edu:
The watches, since they are a major aspect of the scene, could have used more
attention to make them more realistic. I really can't see the images on the
faces of the watches well enough to see the detail there, so some of that time
might have been better spent on the foreground (the watches).

From jerry@hoboes.com:
Nice concept, and very nice images. I don't think its quite as clear as you
might like that this is inside of a "time tunnel".

From klynn@uswest.net:
Cool idea.
Actually, the hot air balloon came along before box kites! The first public
balloon flight was made by the Montgolfier brothers on June 5, 1783, while the
box kite was invented in the 1890s by Lawrence Hargrave.

Superb image except for the background.

From bsieker@techfak.uni-bielefeld.de:
The idea is not too bad, but the whole composition does not look very
impressive. Some of the individual images look more interesting and might have
a chieved a higher score alone. A strong marble texture seems quite out of
place for a watch.
The "time tunnel" effect is not really conveyed to the viewer. It looks more
like a lazily and badly done sky bacgrounnd.

From ethelm@bigfoot.com:
Interesting image-might have been better with more
realistic watch cases.

Interesting way of showing the flying objects...
maybe the marble textures are a little too distracting.

From bobfranke@halcyon.com:
Nice connection with the topic. The modeling is a bit
too simple for my taste.

From peter@table76.demon.co.uk:
I like the way you combined the scenes with the watch faces.

Great concept - maybe you could have included an airship.
Notable for originality, composition, modelling
