Interesting and imaginative concept.

From ddombrow@vt.edu:
I think the focus could be better defined. I had to read your text to figure out it was the Colosseum being knocked down, and not the building next to it.

From marlo.steed@uleth.ca:

Nice idea... the temple looks like it was just unpacked out of the styrofoam peanuts.

From mibmlr@hotmail.com:
Great textures, nice modeling.

From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com:
Type of anachronism that makes you wonder whether it's good to mix genres and
periods. Certainly surprising.
I like the big JCB type machine.

From jouni@mikrobitti.fi:
Allright, let it be admitted: the humorous attitude and background
story gets some points from me. The modelling itself is fine, yet
I might've put a bit more emphasis on picking the textures. For
example the digger might've had a bit more worn out look (they're
never that polished out in the field, especially not in the tracks).

Another point: if the temple is really 400+ years old, shouldn't the
stone (marble?) be a little darker? The temple now sticks out of the
image, having much more luminosity than any other object in the scene.

The lighting troubled me.

From StephenF@whoever.com:
I really like the concept of this one... an ancient
civilization using modern-day technology. A bold use of
colors on the wrecking cranes as well.

From jaime@ctav.es:
Very funny way to introduce your usual theme on the current topic. Only that, as usual, I see
some of your colors as "very standard". Very well modelled and composed.

From clem@dhol.org:
A bizarre and clever idea. Good modelling. I like the
treads. The Emperor could maybe be a bit more visible.
The scene seems a bit static for some reason.

From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au:
Great idea, and executed brilliantly. The attention to detail in this is
fantastic. I don't know what else to say - just great.

From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk:
Nice looking image, but lacking in texturing in most areas. Text file way
too long.
