Desperately needs better textures and radiosity. If it had those it'd be awesome

From bobfranke@halcyon.com:
Interesting design but too clean for ruins. Also try
moving the camera back and increase the z value of the
Direction Vector to reduce the inward slant of the
columns. Try "direction 2*z" or 3*z.

Interesting, nice arches, though the lighting feels a little flat.

What is the green blob? The texures need more work... realism?
=====
From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com:
Interesting, good inspiration.
The skyline lacks some haze.
It would be fantastic to see some reflection caustics, but I'll forgive you for
not doing that ;-)
(just in case someone asks, no you cannot do caustics in POV, yet)

From jouni@mikrobitti.fi:
Interesting and highly architectural, but the ruins aspect is not
very clearly visible here. Is it just me or are those pillars a
wee bit too thin to support such a massive structure?

From StephenF@whoever.com:
Overall, this is a very pretty picture... I love the sky, and
the water, although not totally realistic, suits the mood
of the picture. Looks more like a newly-built replica of
classical architecture than any sort or ruins, however (at
least in my opinion).

From clem@dhol.org:
Interesting idea, fairly well done, but it doesn't really work
for me. The idea of a construction like that in such a
location doesn't make much sense but it isn't really surreal
either. The old boat is a good touch.

=====
From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au:
The architecture looks quite impressive, but it doesn't seem particularly
ruined. The water and boat don't match the detail of the architecture, and
I'm not sure what that green blob is. On the plus side, the colours and
composition are pleasing.

From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk:
Great image, always good to see your work. The only thing that seems to be missing
is a water mark on the columns a short way up above the water. The camera angle could
be tinkered with I think to get a slightly better image, the columns appear to be
leaning inwards a bit. Text file could have been a bit shorter.
