A good start, try adding some normal to the surfaces to
give more texture. Also look into Constructive Solid
Geometry to carve out some holes in the columns.

Nice model but it's too new looking. Also there is no scene here...just a model of a temple

From agage@csee.usf.edu:
And yet, it isn't ruined....

From marlo.steed@uleth.ca:

Looks like this temple was just unpacked out of the box.. but nice use of lighting.

From Alain.Culos@bigfoot.com:
Great columns, but this does not show itself as ruins or any degraded object in
my eyes. Also try a bit more refinements (floor, sky, horizon, ...).

From jouni@mikrobitti.fi:
It's a temple all right, but a ruin? I wouldn't think so. The stone
steps for example are completely straight and sharp, something I
wouldn't imagine in an old and ruined temple.

From StephenF@whoever.com:
Nice texture on the temple walls, and I like the effect of
the light spilling out of the open doorway.

From sjlen@ndirect.co.uk:
Those columns do look good. It's a bit too clean and polished to be ruins.
Hope to see more of your work in future rounds.
