The background needs to be something. Behind the bar, something. I really like how the martini glasses look though.

I just don't see the connection with the topic, regardless of your explanations. I can't really see that skyline you are talking about.

From jaime@ctav.es:
Very nice "escape" to the topic... amazing. Very artistical, too. Great!

From tony@j4tb.com:
Wow! Those are some of the most realistic glasses I have ever seen. The reflection of the city I particularly like too. (didn't notice it till I read your blurb.)

From whhale@nvl.army.mil:
You definately know your martinis. Great image

Look one, Dallas nil.

From Stickgod01@aol.com:
Incredibly well modeled, but I don't see much connection to topic.

From marlo.steed@uleth.ca:

spectacular image... I know how long it takes to get a scene like that looking realistic... but the concept of city didn't quite make it for me.
=====
From StephenF@whoever.com:
This is pretty and makes for a good still life. The
shaping on the glasses is nice. It doesn't really say city
to me, though... I couldn't make out what the reflection
in the shaker was of until I read the text file.

=====
From tonyv@iafrica.com:
The link to the topic is tenuous.

=====
From mar@physics.usyd.edu.au:
This looks like a very nice image - shiny surfaces and glass usually look
cool. The concept is interesting too... but it's very hard to see any of
the actual city reflcted in that shaker. This would have been so much better
with a mirror or window behind the tray - something you could see a nice
detailed Manhattan-esque skyline in.
