IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

It's Seattle. I made an interesting texture that I thought would make a good
rain, so I tried it and sure enough I thought it came out rather nice. I then
built the buildings, added some atmoshperic effects, played with the textures
and viola, your typical day in Seattle.

If you want the source file I'd be happy to send it to you, unfortunately it
only works in Bryce 3-D.

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

Well, I was playing around in the Bryce materials editor and came up with an
interesting volume texture that resembled rain.

I put a large cube into my scene that encompased the whole of the screen and
gave it the rain texture.

I then built the two forward buildings with primitive objects and simple
textures. Then I found a photo of the Seattle Space Needle and made a model
based on that image. Again I built it with simple objects with bolean
operations to create a more detailed model.

I also added some lights to the scene, in the buildings and for a red aircraft
warning light.

I just had fun.

I used PhotoShop to add the Copyright Info and save it as a JPG.
