Well, I must admit, it does look good... The connection to Asia could be
stronger though. Now it is almost just like any landscape image, with a
Japanese bridge thrown in. You could've done a bit more to enhance the water
texture.

A nice bridge, well done.  The folage needed some work on the details... for
instance, the leaves don't look very natural poking out of that tree that way
and the ferns look like each branch is sprouting out of the ground rather than
clumped together in a more natural way.  I know sometimes nature is like that
but... it might just be me.

Nice spot to depict the theme. A higher contrast would 
improve textures greatly, as well as rotating them -those 
in the bridge-. Also, leaves are a bit rigid; if they could 
"move" with the wind, they would give more vitality to 
the image. An excellent beginning though.

The wood on the bridge is very nice. The background haze is nice too. The plants

water in the background needs to smooth out to convay
