It is a bit hard to guess what is going on.  I thought you were depicting a monster that is responsible for those missing toys a child always goes through.  From reading your explanation, it seems some one is crushed under a book case, but the hand’s positioning does not seem to be indicating this well.

I don't understand a few things about this image.  What are "Stones"?
A good variety of wood textures, but some of them (especially the back =
wall) seem too big for their objects.
The sign on the wall is extremely distracting - it makes no sense being =
here in the scene.
The rolltop desk is nice.
