This is really a great view ! Impressive depth.
I don't what I could say to improve it, except that usually lizards rest in full
sun areas rather than in shadow. :-)

Impressive ! This is so real...

The tree looks oddly out of place

From rgow@lanset.com:
WOW! Very impressive! Excellent isosurfaces. Clouds look a little hard.

From hildurka@simnet.is:
This is an amazingly realistic scene, although I find the
colors a little bit too saturated. The layout is great, and
the isosurfaces simulate rocks perfectly, and the lighting
is excellent. The concept sounds a little bit vague
though.

Great image. I like the photorealistic elements you tried to add to this
scene.

From Knight-Graphics@earthlink.net:
This looks like a photograph, except for the bird, which looks like it just flew
through the rock wall. Continue to push the limits of your imagination (and
your computer).

From p_chan@shaw.ca:
The gorge looks quite realistic. I find the sky looks
somewhat awkward - perhaps because they don't look
quite as realistic as the gorge, or perhaps because they
somehow don't fit with the camera angle.

From slone@hiwaay.net:
Nice, sharp image. The clouds are fantastic. The "rock" looks a
little unrealistic, though well-placed, and the lizard is
difficult to see. The shapes and textures of the walls look great.
The water looks very good in the lit part, but the specular
reflection ripples look small and artificial, as water at a
greater distance might appear.

Really nice image, no real decay invovled. The sky is a little off, the bird
loos stuffed (no motion, life) not bad though.
Notable for lighting

Well played dude - this is like totally the best landscape image I have ever
seen. Norbert, have you ever played 'Myst 3' on the PC?, because this is very
similar to an environment called 'Voltaic' - search it on the web you'll see...
In my opinion, the image is great without the tree or the bird. It's a strange
thing, but your rocks look so realistic that it makes the bird and the tree
look really fake. If the rocks were more 'naff', then you probably wouldn't
notice the difference. Kind of ironic eh? But yeah, the rock, sky and water are
awsome dude. I thought it was a photo it was so good. -RICH
