The cocnept is good and the idea of putting the beetle in front of a rising sun is creative.  The problem is that everything in the scene is a bit too simple and unreal - 3Dish.  I think more realism in the bettle would have really made it jump off the scene.  Also consider lighting alternatives to highlights the details of the beetle.
