Try a bump map on the bread.

"It's the greatest thing since sliced bread!" Nice idea and nice shapes. The crust is a little thick, though, and I think a little mold may have crept in.

A good idea, but not original since it was mentioned in the IRTC brief. The colours apear too harsh for the subject and there is a particualar missuse of bump mapping. Look hard at a slice of bread and see how the bumps go in more than out....small holes and nobbly bits...like a fine fluffy texture. However good overall modeling.

Done pretty well, the breads texture could have been better. But other than that it was a good still image.

A good interpretation of the theme.
The bread textures look very interesting and remind me of a cartoon.

From marlo.steed@uleth.ca:
The concept works. The textures actually look good from distance but up close it doesn't look very realistic.

From file:
great idea but the bread looks dirty. Those are some serious Texas Toast slices also.
Notable for composition, originality
