IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

An ancient maze of epic proportions forms an impenetrable barrier in a
misty wilderness. But what does it all mean? Could the maze possibly
symbolize our own crumbling life with all its choices and misleads? Or
was it maybe put up there to keep strangers out... or to keep someone
in?

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

Rendering with POV-Ray 3.6. The heightfield for the ground was
created in World Machine. I made a C++ program that generates the
maze and its walls (disjoint subsets algorithm). The green bushes are
created with a tree generation program I wrote and placed on the
heightfield with a Python script. Added signature in Gimp.
