I think this scene would look a lot better with a more interesting & realistic
sky and lighting. The details are hard to make out in the shadows, and I'm sure
that just tweaking the lights would fix that.

The modelling details and layout of the scene are very good, and have the
feeling of a real place. In fact, though it's hard to tell with this sky, I
think most of the elements of this scene are very realistic.

A very well made picture.  The CSG looks great, and the simple plants work quite
well.  I like your choice of lighting (darker than most entries, yet still
bright enough to show off the scene) and the sunset colors are great.  A solid
score for a solid entry.

The image overall is a nice one, the caravan in the distance is a nice touch. 
The palms are nice, and buildings clean, perhaps too clean though.  They don't
quite have that feeling of 'real' that I think we all aspire too with this kind
of image.  And the sky has a color gradient that is too abrupt.  The ground
texture is good, though, and the general terrain counturs are good.

Nice. I think this is well modeled, but it needs a little more attention to
environment. A little more work on the sand and sky, and then some varying
lighting to simulate the twilight. Very impressive.
