IMAGE DESCRIPTION:

Upon a field in the middle of the ancient battlefield. A cross is visible among
the other grave stones. The graves are those of the fallen soldiers of the war
not too long ago. He is their leader, and his platoon rests with him
eternaly.

God sees this devotion to him. And with his power, a beam of light is cast upon
the fallen leader's grave. The light to raise his soul to the eternal life...

DESCRIPTION OF HOW THIS IMAGE WAS CREATED:

Like always, I used no external modeller, everything
was done in pure POV.

Alright, I love the celtic era and all things celtic. I started designing the
cross for fun, then I thought about the IRTC topic. The whole scene just came
from that.

Yes, everything is csg. The grass was created using a grass macro. I had to
scale it down about 200 times. The light is not a cone filled with media, but
it is a light interacting with the atmosphere. I couldn't get the light to
fall off enough in the background and keep the beam visible though. I really
don't have much to else to say except I didn't have time to compile the sorce
into an easy to read code, sorry. Oh, 3,200,000 blades of grass.

Well, I hope you enjoy this image as much as I enjoyed making it. I always
enjoy comments and feedback, they help me turn out better images in the
future.
